제31차 동남아국가연합(아세안) 정상회의가 13일 필리핀 수도 마닐라에서 개막해 이틀간의 '외교 열전'에 들어간 가운데 문재인 대통령의 외교활동이 눈부시다.

문 대통령은 오늘 마닐라 솔레어 호텔에서 열린 아세안기업자문위원회(ABAC)와 아세안 경제계인사 대상의 '아세안 기업투자 서밋 연설 2017'에서 우리나라와 아세안 관계 비전으로 "우리의 미래는 3P 공동체"라며 사람과 사람 및 마음과 마음이 이어지는 '사람(People) 공동체', 안보협력을 통해 아시아 평화에 기여하는 '평화(Peace) 공동체', 호혜적 경제협력을 통해 함께 잘사는 '상생번영(Prosperity)의 공동체'를 제시했다.

- Moon: 3Ps: People, Peace and Prosperity are the keys to the relationship between Korea and ASEAN
- Moon: Korea to pursue economic cooperation with ASEAN in infinite areas. Trade volume with ASEAN will hit $200 billion by 2020
- Moon: Subways in Vietnam and Indonesia, and hydro-plants in the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia are some examples of economic cooperation
- Moon: Korea will increase ASEAN-related funds
- Korea can help in four areas: infrastructure, energy, water, ICT
